Colour Concept

A shared observation Presented at U.Collectiv, The Colour Concept brings together Quincalux, Sumum and Jullight around a shared approach: restoring coherence within the architectural interior. While materials and volumes are carefully composed, finishing elements often remain fragmented. Switches, lighting and hardware rarely speak the same language, yet they coexist within the same field of view. A unified material language From this observation, three disciplines aligned. Quincalux, rooted in solid brass and hand-finished precision. Sumum, shaping architectural integration through switches and outlets. Jullight, creating lighting that settles softly within space. A shared sensitivity to material, proportion and detail. Together, we developed four refined finishes: Matt Brushed Bronze, Dark Bronze, Brushed Nickel and Brushed Brass. Each one calibrated to extend consistently across applications. The material shifts in expression. It reflects light within a luminaire, becomes tactile in a switch, and turns into a gesture in a handle. The function evolves, the language remains. Calm and precision The result is quiet balance. Less visual noise, more clarity. An interior perceived as one continuous composition. Behind the scenes, this alignment simplifies the design process. Development, matching and consistency are carried collectively, allowing architects to focus on what matters most: shaping space with precision. With The Colour Concept, refinement lies in accuracy. In a material language that is both controlled and enduring. |
